Some Muslims attempt global conquest citing 9:5 of the Holy Quran claiming that 9:5 abrogates 2:256.

9:5 Yusuf Ali: But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every strategem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

2:256 Yusuf Ali: Let there be no compulsion in religion:  Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.

Some other Muslims believe that both 9:5 and 2:256 are valid and that mankind must find a satisfactory interpretation permitting such validity and follow such interpretation.

Inshah Allah we hope to find the true interpretation of the Holy Quran with the aid of the authentic Traditions of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

We hope that all of us would cooperate in evolving a true interpretation of the Holy Quran such that each and every Verse of the Holy Quran is active and not abrogated.

We envisage three roles in this endevor: writer, editor, and reader.

A person could volunteer to play one, two or all of the above roles. Our communication would be through email only. The site owner, Mohideen Ibramsha, would - God willing - identify issues, prepare problem statements and initiate, summarize, and conclude discussions. The results of discussions would be posted as articles in the site. These articles are open to the public for perusal and possible feedback.
